October 26 marks the ten year anniversary of Bipolar Explorer’s double-album, Of Love and Loss. Ground Control Magazine, which named the record to its year’s end Critics Poll of Best Albums of the Year, called it “the most heart-stirring album of the year, it feels and sounds like music that is really from inside someone’s own skin, skeleton, bloodstream, and remains the most significantly stirring and addictive musical accomplishment we’ve come across in some time.”
The band would like to take a moment to commemorate the occasion with a couple of events including a special live solo set of seven songs from the record. It features Michael on guitar and vocals and was recorded here in NYC at The Shrine, as ever – (very) live, noisily and in a hurry.
This 2022 live set will be offered (free download code) with any purchase of Of Love and Loss (double cd or digital) on Bandcamp, and available for purchase separately.
